What we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business name), information about how you use the platform (messages, bookings, leads), and basic analytics about your visitors (message count, session length). We do not collect or store the contents of customer conversations beyond what is needed to operate the service.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and improve the QALADESK service, send you transactional emails (booking confirmations, alerts), communicate with you about your account, and understand how the platform is being used so we can make it better. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data storage
Your data is stored on managed Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure hosted in London, United Kingdom (AWS eu-west-2). The United Kingdom maintains strong data-protection standards under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Documents you upload are stored securely and used only to train your AI assistant. Embeddings are stored as vector representations โ not raw text accessible to other users.
Third-party services
We use Resend for transactional email, Twilio for WhatsApp notifications, Voyage AI for generating document embeddings, and Groq for AI inference. Each provider processes only the data necessary to perform their specific function. We select providers that maintain strong data security practices.
Your rights
You can request a copy of all data we hold about your account at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings. You can update or correct your business information at any time from your dashboard. For any data requests, email qalacentral@gmail.com.
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not run ads or allow advertisers to track visitors on our platform.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
